The KH1205 is an integrated Hall effect latched sensor designed for electronic commutation of brush-less DC motor applications. The Device includes an on-chip Hall voltage generator for magnetic sensing, a comparator that amplifiers the Hall voltage, and a Schmitt to provide switching hysteresis for noise rejection, and open-collector output. An internal band-gap regulator is used to provide temperature compensated supply voltage for internal circuits and allows a wide operating supply range.

The KH1205 is designed to respond to alternating North and South poles. While the magnetic flux density is larger than operate point(BOP), the output will be turned on(Low), the output is held until the magnetic flux density is lower than release point(BRP), then turn off(High).

The KH1205 is available in TO-92S, SOT23-3 and SOT89-3 packages which are optimized for most applications.
